around the neighborhood

Heard a crowd cheering and checked it out. They're filming on Main Street today. Green screen...cool.

This banner for the Crocker Club probably just went up today. At least I don't remember seeing it yesterday. Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile

They took the blue christmas lights down on 4th Street, and with it, all the wreaths and ribbons on the Continental and F&M Bank buildings.

Right before Christmas, Broadway finally got trees in its planters. Although, I still don't understand why people throw trash in it, especially when there's a trash can not less than 3 feet away.

Speaking of trees, I always thought this tree hanging on to the side of the building is pretty neat. I bet this thing will live longer since people can't throw trash on it.

And to start the year off right, my first box full of maple bacon donuts from today's brunch at Nickel Diner!
