LAPD dog park

Dakota takes full advantage of the lawn at the LAPD building. She loves to run on that grass! It's one of the few nice open spaces in the neighborhood. It'll probably stay nice for a while seeing as how there are cameras everywhere, and the building immediately adjacent probably has a lot of cops in it. But as with any grassy jewel in Downtown, I just hope non-poop-scooping dog owners don't ruin it for everyone.

I know it's not officially a dog park, but we've met a lot of other neighborhood dogs there. And Dakota has had the pleasure of chasing them around. We weren't the only ones that were bummed when a huge tent took over the whole lawn last week. It seemed a little weird to spend a lot of money on landscaping only to kill the grass for a one day event. In any case, we're really hoping this place stays open to the community, and stays dog-friendly.
